Tom Showtime is a man of many guises. DJ. Producer. Pizza Guy. Remixer. Saxophonist. Dad. Gramophone Enthusiast. From Be-Bop to Breakbeat and everything in between, Tom’s passion for music is paralleled only by his newfound love of the 45 format. Having spun around the globe, dropping many releases, founding Easy Now Recordings and playing in the jazzy hip hop band ZEDSIX he says “I just love playing 45s now, they’re tricky to use, hard to find and super addictive…”
Starting his own label Easy Now Recordings in 2015 with DJ Maars sees Tom take a tropical twist in this story, producing Reggae Mashups and now predominantly focusing on ‘the sounds of summer’. Releasing these 45s has fed the passion / addiction for the small format vinyl and you’ll catch him spinning those somewhere…
