Ammon is a founding member of The Rhythm Society (1996 - present) — a San Francisco-based event series and community. He's also a member of Ambient Mafia and Love Bizarre DJ crews. He was a co-founder and resident DJ of the legendary SF weekly Mushroom Jazz (1992 - 1995), playing alongside Mark Farina, Tom of England, Marques Wyatt, Julius Papp, DJ IZ, Felix da Dog, and many others.
