I’ve spent my entire life obsessing about music, submersed in it. From buying classic soul and funk as a teenager, to running club nights in London featuring legendary New York house and disco DJs. It’s been a constant in my life, and there aren’t many moments in the day when I’m not thinking about, listening to, or reading about music. But in recent years, jazz has become my focus. There is an incredible amount of new jazz released every week, across all styles, from all around the world. Spiritual, ballads, bop, Latin, Brazilian, to jazz-funk and electronic tunes for the dance-floor. I now host a monthly jazz radio show showcasing my picks of the month, with the occasional dip and dig into the past… There’s a lot to be excited about!
