Have you engaged Art in your life?
Opened your heart to a motivation both beyond yourself and absolutely intrinsic to your sense of self and rendered it into being?
Channeled an emotion into a modality?
Strung your body into a bowstring and shot a banger at the stars?
Carved into the hard caverns of your precious consciousness, cutting masks and stripping cloth as you go, bearing heat and pressure, seeking?
Chased fragile assemblies across canvas and paper, holding your breath as they began?
Found yourself so free that every thought was a melody, sentences songs, and every word shared with a stranger a synaesthesic polyphony brushed by the gods?

I believe you have. I believe in you. I believe you are full of ART. So in celebrating Art, as we are doing today, we celebrate artists, who keep dreaming Art into being. We celebrate you. And me. And us. And this compulsion. This power. This joy. This dream. Happy birthday, Art. We love you.
