Tricia Halloran has been curating, DJing and obsessing over indie pop and rock since 1992 when she started hosting Brave New World at influential Los Angeles public radio station KCRW. She's currently working with KCRW on a new podcast about the '80s independent music scene, and working as a music supervisor on various film projects as well as television shows Dead To Me and New Amsterdam.
She believes that indie music is art, songs are healing, and a well-written lyric can move mountains. Brave New World features her favorite recent new indie pop and rock releases alongside vintage faves from all eras.
