I discovered electronic music the long way round. A drummer from the age of fifteen and a bass player from sixteen, I spent twenty-seven years playing in bands and earned a degree in jazz before playing my first DJ set in 2013.

Born in Mozambique, based in Lisbon. I hold a residency at Clássico Beach Bar in Costa da Caparica and have hosted MyBackyard Music weekly since 2016 — now past 250 episodes, broadcast on radio stations worldwide. I'm also a resident on Balearic FM, every 2nd Monday of the month at 22:00 CET.

I mix three or more channels live and in real time across Pioneer, Roland and Maschine hardware, so no two sets are ever the same. Deep, melodic, tribal and Afro House — warm, hypnotic and built for the moment the sun drops.

The name is a tribute to my late father, Angelo. Wherever I play, the idea stays the same — it's all about the music in my backyard.
