Flotsam, although varying in colloquial definitions, generally refers to items thrown unintentionally from a ship that is in wreckage or dismay.
But this is a show about music, and there are sound waves instead of endless oceans to deal with. Much safer.
Needless to say we share a familiar concern to these nautical origins regarding music - what have we lost sight of? Where are the would-be pioneer artists not completely pulled from the million other sounds in float?
