Soul Clap - EFUNK: The Mixtape 2024

Take a time warp back to 2010 and enjoy a timeless original, EFUNK: The Mixtape, which played a major roll in pushing Soul Clap’s sound and brand from bubble to boil! Originally pressed in a limited edition of 200 copies – 100 given out for free at Dancing On The Charles and 100 through our friends at Phonica Records, with artwork from Pilar Zeta who went on to be nominated for a Grammy for her album artwork! Sporting close to 40 tracks from Dam-Funk, Kokane, Miles Davis and many more, plus interludes, hip-hop mixtape style drops from industry heavyweights (as well as from our parents!) and, naturally, plenty of edits and originals from Soul Clap themselves, E-FUNK: The Mixtape is pretty close to nasty, stanky, funk perfection. For 2024 we made two tweaks, we’ve swapped the Extravaganza edit for the new cover versions featuring Life On Planets and we’ve sped things up giving this classic a new modern energy…
