Supernova was born in 2002 by the partnership of Emiliano “EMIJAY” Nencioni and Giacomo “G.O.D.I.” Godi.
The two djs and producers blended their own previous professional experiences to create an ambitious and successful project.
Things started to snowball in 2007 when Sony Bmg released their first album “Downtown Underground”, which was immediately supported by critics & medias such as Mtv and launched Supernova on tours in China and USA.
In 2009, Supernova's new personal outlet, called “Lapsus Music”, saw the light of day and made a huge splash.
2011 was an insane year for the italian duo, working with the most important labels in the electronic music scene such as Strictly Rhythm, Defected, Great Stuff, Stereo Productions, King Street, Tronic and touring between London, Ibiza , Mykonos, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Moscow, Montreal & Barcelona.
Their live dj sets showcases a blend of tech, funk and acid house, coming from their dj’s and musicians past careers.
