At school, we read to answer the teacher's questions. The test results confirm that we have read the material and nothing more. Get rid of this approach to reading. Remember that now you are not reading for the teacher, but for yourself.

The goal of the reader is to understand why something happened. And what exactly happened is not that important. That's why it's helpful to know the ending of the book or the author's main judgments beforehand. Then you will focus on two questions while reading:

What does it mean?

Do I agree with it?
